Kurt Busch’s first practice at IMS

“There’s a lot of information. It’s a lot of speed, too. At 220 (mph), things are moving quickly, but it’s a lot of fun. With all the practice days, it’s going to help me get comfortable and digest the information. Today I can draw a check mark through the day as a successful rookie day in playing with dirty air. The next day we have to advance that, and the next day we have to advance it again. Then on Thursday, we’re going to look to start taking some downforce out of the car to get into qualifying mode, so we’ll see how it all pans out.”
